Learn how to onboard your real estate team’s new hires via Zoom and train them to leverage their own databases to get more Google reviews.

Let’s address one of 2021’s burning questions for Realtors: how do I get more Google Reviews? If you’ve been following us here at ICC, we’ve been at the forefront of Google’s move into the real estate world. (We even created an entire online course around it.) At the end of the day, it’s a numbers game. Realtors must find a way to get the most 5-star Google Reviews in their service area in order to help rank them higher in Google. Today we are diving into an easy way to get more reviews. You can hire temp workers to reach out to their own sphere of influence (SOI) to request reviews for your team!

VIDEO: How to Train New Hires to Leverage Their Databases and Get More Google Reviews

To give this video some context, the presenter is Eric Zellers. He is a coaching client of us here at ICC, and he and his partner, Drew Ary, co-own Ary Land Company. It’s a family-owned business, and they are the number one land sales team in Oklahoma in 2020, as well as the number one Keller Williams land sales team in North America. Ary Land Co. sold $70 million worth of real estate. They are extremely successful, and we are proud to be a part of their journey. In the video above, Eric is onboarding two new hires and training them to get more Google Reviews.

People are shopping for real estate agents on Google

Google makes it easy for us to shop for just about anything under the sun in one place. You can simply bring up the Google search engine and type in what you are looking for, and Google has recommendations. It started with the flight industry and has taken over many other professional service industries, and now the time has come for real estate.

Anyone who shops online knows that the product with the highest reviews wins. The same goes for real estate agents! This is the driving force behind why you need to get more Google Reviews, and fast. The general public is catching up slowly, so now is the time to increase your Google Review count. When Google takes over the real estate search game completely, you’ll outshine your competition and come up first in the search results.

How to get more Google Reviews

Below, you will find a script that can be used as an email, text message, or Facebook direct message template. This is something you can provide to your new temp workers. They can then reach out to their own spheres of influence and ask for a Google Review.

Hi [Friend’s Name], I hope you are doing well! I started working with [The John Smith Real Estate Team] to help with their marketing. We are working on optimizing our internet presence to attract/serve more people like you! Could I get your help by giving us a 5-star review for our team on Google? [EXAMPLE LINK HERE: http:/google.com/localservices/review/JohnSmith Team] I truly appreciate your help and I am grateful for all your support!

You can pay your temp workers per review that they get from their personal database. Be sure to check out Eric Zeller’s video in this blog for a great run-through of how to onboard and make the most of your new hires. Ultimately, you want them to believe in your team and understand the value of getting these reviews. You outline the rules, the compensation, and you can even provide them with examples of review text to suggest to their family and friends.
