Struggling to get views on your real estate videos? The issue probably isn’t your content—it’s your title. Learn how to create better, keyword-rich real estate video titles that drive clicks, visibility, and leads.
If you’re putting out great real estate video content but nobody’s watching—it’s not your fault… but it is your title.
I talk to real estate agents all the time who are frustrated by their YouTube performance. They’re creating videos consistently, they’re saying the right things, but the views just aren’t coming. Here’s the truth: content doesn’t matter if nobody clicks on it.
VIDEO: You’re Losing Views on YouTube—Fix Your Real Estate Video Titles
YouTube Is a Search Engine
Let’s start with this—YouTube is the second largest search engine in the world. That means your video title has to function like a search query. Think like a consumer. Think like a buyer or seller.
Would someone searching for answers type “New Listing” into the YouTube search bar?
No. But they might search:
“How far does $500,000 go in Denver?”
“Best neighborhoods in Nashville for families”
“What’s the market like in Austin in 2025?”
Those are real questions that real people are asking. And your video title should match that language.
Vague Titles Don’t Perform
Skip overused, empty titles like:
“Market Update”
“My Newest Listing”
“Q2 Recap”
Those don’t tell anyone what your video is about, why they should care, or how it helps them. There’s no curiosity. No urgency. And no keywords that signal to the algorithm who this video is for.

What to Do Instead
Use clear, specific, keyword-rich titles that help your ideal client feel like the video was made for them.
Try adding:
📍 A geographic keyword (city, neighborhood)
📍 A buyer/seller goal (price range, home type)
📍 A hook (“before you move,” “things nobody tells you,” “most people miss”)
Here are a few title examples that work:
“Before You Buy in Scottsdale – 3 Things Most People Miss”
“What Kind of Home Can You Get for $400K in San Diego?”
“Top 5 Schools in Tampa – Where to Buy a Home Nearby”
Bonus Tip: Add Curiosity or Urgency
Words like “before you move,” “watch this first,” or “what most people miss” create an emotional trigger. It makes people curious. They don’t want to miss out. And that drives clicks.
Here’s the truth: content doesn’t matter if nobody clicks on it.
